Refund policy

We sell digital books delivered as PDF and ePub. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 37, digital content delivered immediately and with the buyer's express consent is not eligible for the standard 14-day cancellation right. We collect that consent at checkout (the box you tick before paying) and log it against your order.

Even so, we operate a voluntary refund policy that is more generous than the law requires. Here it is.

If the file is broken or won't download

Full refund. Reply to your receipt email and we'll process it within a working day. If you'd rather have a working file than your money back, say so and we'll resend.

If you entered the wrong email

No refund needed. We'll resend the book to the correct address at no charge. Reply to anomalymellow.com from the address you used at checkout, or contact us with proof of purchase (the order ID on your receipt).

If you bought it and then changed your mind

We'll refund you in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, as long as you have not downloaded the files more than once. Reply to your receipt and ask. We're not going to argue.

After 14 days, refunds for “changed mind” reasons are at our discretion. We will usually still say yes if your reason is reasonable.

If you bought it twice by accident

Full refund of the duplicate, no questions.

If you'd like to give the book away

Email us and we'll happily resend the download links to a friend on your behalf, free of charge. This is not officially permitted by the copyright page but we are running a small studio and we like you for asking.

Chargebacks

We'd much rather process a refund directly than have you raise a chargeback with PayPal. PayPal disputes are slow, expensive, and damage our ability to keep selling. If you're unhappy, email first and we'll almost certainly sort it out.

How to ask for a refund

Reply to your receipt email, or write to hello@anomalymellow.com with your order ID (printed on your receipt). One human reads these. You will get a reply within a working day.
